WEMADE, 2019

by A Long Distance Collective

This performance was made in response to Otobong Nkanga’s exhibition, From Where I Stand at Tate St Ives.

Through sound, gesture and movement, the performance hinted at what language and communication can look like, through a deep connection and focus on the present moment.

A Long Distance Collective:

"As a collective with a fine art and design background, we aim to realise our artistic visions through collaboration and conversation. We are involved in projects that place importance on inclusivity, spontaneity and dialogue."
