Constellation to Appease, 2019

In offering to Yemoja, Otobong Nkanga in collaboration with A Long Distance Collective (Sanni Pyhanniska, Emma Tweedie and Sophia Rosenthal) together carried sculptures in procession to the shores of Porthmeor beach. Singing a Cornish song, 'An Lavar Koth' led by the Cornish Bards, Delia and Dave, journeying into the Tate St Ives gallery space for the opening private view.
